FC U9 RANGERS-FINALISTS AT FC DELCO PLAYERS CUP
U9 Ranger Pile.
For anyone that has not yet caught their breath from Monday's Championship game between the U9 Rangers and the tough South Jersey Elite soccer club, here are some shots from an incredible day of soccer. After dropping just one game 0-4 to SJ Elite in the semi-final just one day earlier, the Rangers brought their A-game with what is arguably the best soccer they have played all year. Tied scores, several lead changes, inexhaustible effort, passing with headers, sharp crosses, outstanding teamwork and just all-out heart. It was amazing to watch the Rangers play at such a high level and the parents, coaches, staff and fans could not be prouder of you. After two five minute overtime periods the game was to be determined by penalty kicks. SJ Elite won 5-4 on PK's. As Coach Jim Borden said, "nothing rattles these boys. They just keep playing, no matter what." A thriliing game right up to the last second. And then, as the Rangers always do, they grab their gear, take a one last look around, look for their family and friends and leave the field with smiles on their faces.
The Rangers saved their best for last on this blazing hot Memorial Day weekend. And for that Rangers, we thank you.

Uriel has skills!!!
The Rangers had a good showing at the Red Rose Classic going 1-1-1. The first game was a great display of skill and defense with a win over Pa Classics 5-3. The second game caught the Rangers off guard and while they fought back from a 3-0 deficit in the second half, they just ran out of time and finished with a loss 4-2 to Redlands who went on to win our bracket. Sundays game, the Ranger's third and final game, was a 3-3 tie with Reading Rage. Get them next time boys!

Robert Urban Memorial Soccer Tournament U9 Boys Champions
The FC Revolution Rangers played skillfully at both ends of the field scoring 15 goals while allowing only 3 goals. The results of this tremendous team effort coming at the end of a long day of soccer. The Rangers actually grew stronger in skill, speed and determination as the day grew longer. You did us all proud Rangers!
