U11 Boys Rangers

Regular Season 2010

Red Rose Tournament

Day 2 found the Rangers thick in the grass jungle of Lancaster County.  It was a hard fought day with battling the enemy and the jungle.  The boys never gave up and played hard as a team to the final whistle.   The supporting troops (parents) could not get on the battle field but cheered and encouraged the Ranger's through it all ~ Thank You!!

Day 1 found the Rangers playing some great soccer to beat Pa Classics 7 to 1. The boys (plus one) played very well together.  Lucas Strange's first game as a Ranger was awesome!!   Plus One - Jackie Richards also showed her speed and effort as a seamless teammate to assist the Rangers at the tournament..  Keep up the good work everyone!!! `

The tournament schedule is out and posted on the Team Page. The schedule is not the best. Saturday starts out ok with games at 9:00 and 1:00. Sunday we don't play until 5:00 p.m. !!!! Then if the boys win, we'll play at 8:30 a.m. on Monday. Playing late on Sunday makes if difficult to book the hotel room for another night or not. I will look into this with the travel/hotel agency. The fields are at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). On the team page is a Overall UMBC campus map to get a general layout. The other field maps are "zoomed-in" sections of the overall campus map. The team page also has directions from the hotel to the fields - it's about a 15 minute drive.

Rangers make it to Championship Game at Penn Legacy's 2012 Academy Cup. They scored 19 goals over 4 games played and make it all the way to the finals.

Rangers are 2011 Red Rose Champs!!!!

Coach Jim with his champion Rangers

After winning their group with an impressive 3-0 record and outscoring their opponents 10-4, the Rangers dominated the championship game from whistle to whistle and posted a convincing 6-1 win over Fusion. Playing in the top bracket, the Rangers posted 16 goals while yielding only 5. Coach Jim brought out their "A" game when it mattered most, and the Rangers played an almost perfect championship game. Congratulations to Coach Jim and the Rangers they certainly earned it.
