"I would like to thank Mike, Eric, the entire FC Revs Staff and of course all the players for all their support and dedication!  My time with the club has been an absolute joy.  It has been a pleasure to work for such a great club that has such a strong philosophy in terms of development.  Everyone involved should be very proud about the club they are part of at FC Revs...I have seen a lot of soccer clubs throughout the United States and FC Revs is certainly one of the most organized and quality clubs that you can find!  Although I will be in a new position with Red Bulls, I will still be a part of the club and will be working with the club whenever my schedule allows.  This is not and end, it is just the beginning of a long lasting relationship that I plan on having with FC Revolution!"

September 22, 2010 - FC Revolution announced today that the club will be expanding.  "We have the most qualified staff in the area, and more highly respected coaches want to join us." said club founder and co-owner Eric Puls.  "We'll be looking for new premier players and teams to come under our umbrella as early as this November. Having our own facilities gives us the flexibility to accommodate more players, teams and programs throughout the whole year, so that's what our plan will be." 

FC Revolution currently provides elite soccer training for players ages 8 through 18, as well as a U20 women's team and the 3rd year FC Reading Revolution NPSL men's team, which features the top local college and high school players.  The club coaching staff is highly regarded as one of the most qualified in the EPYSA region.  The staff includes former professional players, coaches and three current college coaches.  Also, Todd Hoffard, who is the club's new goalkeeper coach, is recognized nationally for his successful teaching methods and track record for producing top level goalkeepers at every level.  Todd is currently the assistant coach at Temple University in Philadelphia.

"We're trying to maximize the resources of our coaching staff," said club co-owner Mike Moyer.  "These staff members are connected in some way or another to just about every college soccer program in the country.  Assisting our older players is a big priority for us.  The club is producing top flight players at a fast rate, and the reputation of our teams and their style of play is gaining respect across the nation, so we have to increase our services to the older players."

The U15 Galaxy and U17 Dynamo girls have been accepted to play in the prestigious Disney College Showcase Tournament which is being held in late December.  The Disney tournament is the number one ranked girl's tournament in the country.  The current U18 boys team traveled to the Gothia Cup in Sweden, and 3 players from the team already committed to top level Division One programs for the fall of 2011, with more signings expected to follow.

"Our players are taught how to play the game the proper way at a very young age," said Puls.  "As far as player development, it's critical that good habits are formed at an early age, and we provide that necessary training."

FC Revolution youth teams play  their fall season league games in the DELCO, PAGS, and CPYSL leagues.

Current Temple University soccer coach Todd Hoffard Joins FC Revolution as its full time goalkeeper trainer.

Todd Hoffard, owner/director of the nationally recognized ONE on One Soccer Camps, has joined the FC Revolution Soccer club as its full time goalkeeper trainer.  Hoffard, who has an extensive playing and coaching resume at both the collegiate and professional levels joins FC Revolution, one of eastern Pennsylvania's most successful youth soccer clubs.

"Todd Hoffard brings a stellar reputation to our club, and we couldn't be happier," said Eric Puls, founder and co-owner of FC Revolution.  "Todd's arrival gives us the flexibility to move current FC goalkeeper coach Erik Burstein to spend more time on the field.  Erik is one of the country's brightest young coaches, and we've been looking for a way to get him more involved with our younger teams."

Burstein, who has guided the Kutzown University Women's program to national prominence, has been with FC Revoluton for the past two years, and will be spending time with the U18 girls, as well as the next year's U13 and U14 girls.

Hoffard was a teammate of Eric Puls on the former Reading Rage professional team and knows both owners quite well. 

"When this opportunity came to me, there wasn't a lot to think about," said Hoffard.  "Mike and Eric are friends for many years, and they have a fantastic organization.  I'm hoping we can spend many years together, as the club continues to succeed and grow."

"Todd is a tremendous teacher", said Mike Moyer.  "He relates great with the kids, is well-respected, and knows the game as well as any of the top soccer coaches in the country.  We are thrilled with this addition to our staff.  He also brings an exciting network to the next level, which is something that will benefit all players in the club."

Hoffard will be introduced to all goalkeepers in the club on Thursday, May 13th, at 6:00 PM.  This special session will be held at FC's newly acquired GAMEFACE Sports Complex on Old Pricetown Road in Temple, PA.

Special One on One Soccer Camps and Year round goalkeeper clinics are being planned for the future.
