The FC Revolution U14 Falcons are looking to keep moving forward after an extremely successful 10-11 campaign. The Falcons are currently ranked #1 in Eastern PA, #13 in Region 1, and #22 Nationally according to Got Soccer.
The Falcons kept up their winning ways overwhelming the competiton in the top flight by scoring 10 goals and giving up 0 goals. Congratulations to the girls on a fantastic weekend.
Elke Cacchione scored the Falcons first goal five minutes in with the assist coming from a cross by Lexie Gunderson. Penn Legacy tied the game up early in the second half, but Elke scored her second goal of the game by heading in a direct kick taken by Emily Stump to put them ahead 2-1 the rest of the way. It was a great team effort that gave the FC Revolution Club their first Outdoor State Cup Championship!
The FC Revolution Falcons went 3-0-1 to take hold of the EPIC tournament championship. The Falcons started the weekend off with a 0-0 tie against Neshaminy, but went undefeated the rest of the way beating North Mississauga SC Panthers (Canada) 2-1, American SC Liberty (New Jersey) 3-2, and YMS 1-0 in the final. The tournament proved to be a great test leading up to the EPYSA State Cup Final on Saturday against Penn Legacy.
