Futsal is soccer played with a smaller, heavier ball, where skill and creativity are the ONLY ways to succeed!! Great players such as Ronaldinho and Robinho credit much of their success to playing this game at a young age!! Futsal is essential to the development of the new generation of soccer players!!

• Program is structured for players 8 - 17 years of age
• Games are 3v3, nine minutes long, with no subs and no keepers
• Guaranteed three games per session
• Players have new teammates and new opponents every game
• Points are awarded for every player on winning teams
• Points are deducted for repeated fouls, bad conduct and poor sportsmanship
• Music during all games!
• Fun, Fun, Fun!
• Awards are given to the top (points accumulated) players at the end of the 6th session.

Hello Futsal Players:

Hopefully everyone is ready for this Saturday, and the 6th annual 3v3 futsal league!  (10:30 am - 12:30 pm) There are 4 futsal fields - 40' x 85' each.

NOTE:  If you are UNABLE to attend a session, please let us know as soon as possible, so there are no problems with the schedule.  Some of you have already notified me regarding this weekend - thank you!

Please pay attention to the following details:  (players are not allowed on the field until instructed by the director)

• Coaching from parents or other spectators is not permitted.
• All parents must remain outside the walls and playing area.  Parents must watch the games from the viewing areas closest to the entrance.
• Players must enter the fields at the door closest to the bathrooms. (Baseball instruction takes place behind the team benches, so players are no longer permitted in this area).
• Players must wear turf shoes or flats - molded soccer shoes are not permitted.
• Please do not bring any soccer balls into Grand Slam.  We will provide the futsal balls for all games.
• Players may wear any soccer uniforms or jerseys.
• SHIN GUARDS ARE REQUIRED!  Players will NOT be permitted to play without them!
• Please bring a drink, however all drinks must stay in the TEAM BENCH areas.
• Players will be given pinnies to wear for all games.

  • Games are 3v3, nine minutes long, with no subs and no keepers
  • Attacking, creative play is highly encouraged
  • NO Slide Tackles
  • Players must be 10 ft. (3 GIANT STEPS) back on all kick-ins - including after a goal
  • After a goal, the opposing team gets the ball out of the goal and play begins
  • There are NO CORNER KICKS
  • If the ball goes behind the goal, the defending team gets the ball
  • The BACK WALLS ARE IN PLAY
  • The sidelines are OUT OF BOUNDS
  • If the ball goes over the sideline, play is restarted with a kick-in OR the player may dribble the ball in directly - defending players must be 10' back as noted above
  • If a ball goes onto another field, ONLY ONE player is permitted to retrieve the ball
  • If a ball comes onto your field, please kick it back to the original field
  • Players are the referees, and good sportsmanship is required
  • Guaranteed three games per session
  • Players must gather around the score keepers after every game
  • NOTE:  Players might play more than 3 games due to absence, however only the 3 scheduled games will count in the standings.
  • Players have different teammates and opponents every game
  • Points are awarded for every player on winning teams
  • Points are deducted for repeated fouls, bad conduct and poor sportsmanship

*U9 - U12 Players should be ready to play at 10:30 am - with 9's and 10's playing first!

*The schedules might be altered for the remaining weeks, but we will always start play with the youngest players.
