F.C. Revolution

After winning the ELITE GROUP with 3 wins, the U10 girls finished second, after a hard fought final saw both teams play to a scoreless overtime draw.  Unfortunately, the Lightning got the chance to experience the harsh realities of the penalty shootout, and an excellent Charlotte United North Carolina team prevailed. 

The BIG STAGE experience at the Jefferson Cup is second to none.

Girls dominate with 5-1 win in Final! 

• U10 Girls finish as semi-finalists in EPYSA "A" Level Indoor State Cup competition.  Team dominates group play with 3 impressive victories. 
• The girls will be matched against the following teams for the outdoor competition:  Parkland, Whitpain, and Wyoming Valley
• The prestigious JEFFERSON CUP is next for the girls!

In a pilot program, The U14 Black Magic girls will serve as mentors to the U10 Lightning team.  Each U10 player will have the opportunity to learn about soccer - FC STYLE ... and life in general.  So far, the girls have been assigned to each other, and have met between training sessions for a brief stretching and discussion session.  Social events at the GAMEFACE office will also occur.  The feedback so far has been great from both players and parents!

U10 Lightning girls go undefeated in the highest bracket with two wins and a tie @ the EPIC tournament!  Check the results!

Mackenzie Anton notches early first half goal.  Goalkeeper Sydney Lobb and the defense take care of the rest, as the Lightning girls roll to the next round after undefeated group play.  Good Luck Girls!

The U10 Lightning girls will be volunteering their time over the holiday break, packaging canned goods for the children and homeless on Monday,  December 29th, at the "Greater Food Bank of Berks County".

Head coach Mike Moyer said, "I think it's extremely important for our young players to get involved with projects like this.  A big thanks goes out to team manager Shane Anton for organizing the day."
